Exterior Projects Showcasing Full-Bed Stone Veneer

When it comes to building materials, natural stone has always been associated with elegance, durability, and timeless beauty. Among the different applications, Full Bed Veneer is a versatile and visually impactful choice that fits a variety of interior and exterior projects. Full Bed Veneer is split to 3-5" thickness and is available in four different patternsIt offers all of the benefits of natural stone, from aesthetic appeal to functionality, and the thickness ensures it holds up well to the elements and changes in temperature while requiring minimal maintenance. Here are three projects that incorporate Full Bed Veneer into exterior designs to create purposeful and memorable spaces.

In the project above, the hardscape, landscape, and driveway were transformed by the craftsmanship of Buddy's Property Services featuring Liberty Hill Full Bed Veneer. The stone collection, known for its blue/grey color with hints of pink, was used to build retaining walls around the property, which also helped create definition while adding consistency to different parts of the design. Incorporating stone into multiple elements is one of the most current design trends we are seeing, and this finished project is a great example of the impression it makes!

In this project, the Full Bed stone walls along the entry, steps, and main areas of the property add curb appeal and make the accents stand out. The light grey and occasional tan tones complement the wood exterior and add warmth, reminding us why stone and wood make a perfect pair.

Full Bed Veneer is an ideal choice for interior projects as well, including walls, fireplaces, and accents. While Thinstone veneer has become more popular and convenient in recent years, some contractors and homeowners prefer the more traditional option. Among them is one of our Featured Contractors, Steve Behan, who shared his thoughts with us on Full Bed Veneer versus Thinstone Veneer, and a recent favorite project featuring Montauk Blend Full BedHowever you choose to incorporate natural stone into your space, there are many color options, applications, and ways to use it to make your space as enjoyable and purposeful.
