Grey Collections to Consider for Any Natural Stone Project

When you use natural stone for a variety of interior and exterior home improvement projects, you can count on its durability, longevity, and low maintenance no matter which collection you choose. Selecting the right color for your project can be less straightforward than the benefits of using natural stone, but knowing the primary color you prefer will lead you in the right direction. If you want grey stone veneer to be the predominant building material, here are three collections to consider, each with its own variation, texture, and charm.

Custom mix of different grey Delgado Stone collections

This project features a custom mix of Delgado Stone grey collections to create a personalized look.

The Fitzwilliam Granite collection is a consistent grey with an occasional white striation and mica, with a light to medium texture. The weathered exterior of this antique stone adds a unique quality to each project, and it is a great choice to contast with other building materials. In the photo below,  Fitzwilliam in the Ashlar pattern gives this pool project by Blue Claw Associates an understated but memorable look.

Another popular choice for grey stone veneer is Greenwich Blue, which is known for its rare blue-ish gray color that is native to New England. The blue and gray color contrast and light to medium texture adds a stunning look to a variety of different projects. The interior fireplace in the photo below by King Stoneworks showcases the color range of Greenwich Blue and how the stone, as well as the craftsmanship, takes center stage in this living space.

The American Mist collection is a dark grey stone with white, tan, and hints of green. Its versatile color range helps create many different looks, from modern to classic--and the look created also varies based on the pattern chosen. The exterior fireplace in the photo below is the centerpiece of an outdoor living space in New York, and includes a built-in pizza oven! You can see how the project highlights American Mist's different shades and variations, which easily complements other building materials and features.
