Natural stone veneer is used for many exterior applications. It's common for siding, chimneys, fireplaces, walls, fire pits, and several other applications. Our natural stone steps and flagging continue to increase in popularity but this Long Island patio took our thinstone veneer and used it in a simple and unique way: risers.
Stone Veneer Risers on a Long Island Patio
We often write about large projects but it's always fun to share something unique and meaningful. Our stone was purchased at an Authorized Dealer on Long Island but I was fortunate enough to provide samples and product information as requested by the homeowner. In the end our CT Blend Strip was selected for the riser to go with the bluestone steps (pictured above).

It's why we do what we do. The order was 54sf and 6LF of corners but the vision of the homeowner, support of the Authorized Dealer, and skilled masonry work made this a special project. It's not the size of the project that makes it special, it's the end result and customer satisfaction.
