3 Stone Veneer Collections That Complement Bluestone

The variety and versatility of natural stone are two of its best attributes and offer many creative and unique possibilities for home improvement projects. Your choice of natural stone materials can enhance a color scheme, set the tone of a living space, and tie multiple components of a project together in one cohesive design. Bluestone is a common natural stone material incorporated into landscape projects, including walkways, patios, treads, wall caps, sills, pool coping, and more. Bluestone's versatility and range allow it to be paired with different natural stone collections to make lasting impact.

Liberty Hill

In the project featured above, the Liberty Hill Collection is showcased in two different ways: as Thinstone Veneer in the Mosaic pattern for the fireplace and Flagstone for the patio. Liberty Hill offers a similar blue-grey color to bluestone, but with added pink, brown, and beige tones to set it apart. Although the stone veneer, flagstone, and bluestone in the photo above are wet, their colors are still complimentary of each other. The team at Spruce Creek Landscapes used bluestone for the hearth, mantel, and lintel of this outdoor fireplace feature.

Black Ash

The second project featured here also uses bluestone caps--and you can see how the dark grey granite with white and tan undertones creates a stunning contrast in this pool and spa combo. It enhances the smooth, modern look, and adds a stylish accent to the waterfall, completing the overall design. You can learn more about this project designed by homeowner, Michelle Foley, here

Greenwich Blue

In the project above by A&J Masory, Greenwich Blue Roughly Squares & Rectangles were used to add curb appeal to the residence. This collection is known for its native New England blue-grey color, and the bluestone adds a perfect finish to the accent wall.

These three collections have color ranges that coordinate well with bluestone, and all have the qualities that make natural stone a preferred material including visual impact, durability, and low maintenance. As you can see in these featured projects, each of the three collections adds its unique characteristics to the project and enhances the home atmosphere.
