3 Projects That Showcase the Harbor Mist Collection

Natural stone comes in many colors, textures, and variations, which makes it suitable for different styles and projects, and to use in combination with other building materials. If you're looking for a light grey stone with some tan and mica, the Harbor Mist collection could be the right fit for your project. A native New England granite, Harbor Mist has a light texture and adds visual impact to a variety of interior and exterior designs. These three projects incorporate Harbor Mist in three different patterns, and show different ways it can be used to enhance your home.

In the project above, the existing brick fireplace was transformed (with the craftsmanship of Mike Joyce) using Harbor Mist in the Ashlar pattern. The greys and tans brightened the previous dark, monochromatic look--and added visual appeal to the living space. The end result is an inviting atmosphere with soft colors that make a big impression.

Harbor Mist Roughly Squares & Rectangles was used to cover the foundation and accent the exterior of this new home build (above.) The color palette complements the grey siding, and the pattern adds a smooth, modern touch to the overall design. This is a great example of how natural stone works well with other building materials, and still stands out.

In the project by Masonry Construction (above) Harbor Mist Strip was used as an accent for the exterior design to create a focal point in the center of the home build. The subtle grey and tan colors soften the otherwise black and white exterior. The stone also adds texture and charm, giving the property a distinguished look that sets it apart in the neighborhood.

Whether it is a major component or a highlight, natural stone adds character to any home improvement project. With the talents of a skilled mason, there are many ways to personalize your home with unique features like the ones you see here.
